And we of course had to rock them Tressie style...complete with the hair bow!

Tressie earned her mouse ears!
The Little Lady really was a rock star Walt Disney World vactioner. So of course she had to be rewarded properly...with her very own mouse ears! At times she loved wearing them...and at times she wanted nothing to do with them, but they are so darn cute!

Operation Take Back the Trailerhood
The trailerhood is taking over my life. Okay, maybe not the trailerhood, but the huge mess and disorganization inside of it, is. I’m a very {VERY} organized person and when my house gets dirty and cluttered, I do not function well. At all. In any aspect of my life.
This week at work, I’ve re-written my to-do list approximately 22 times. Like by writing it down over and over again, the little magical Wild Horse Merry Maids {ew, do you think there is such a thing?!?} will make their way to the trailerhood and take care of things.
{Yes, right about now I realize that you’re thinking to yourself about how I have OCD. I’m sure that I probably have OCD and probably need medicine, but I choose to ignore it and not obsess over that fact!}
The hectic summer brought a cluttered house. Sure I managed to keep it looking okay to the outsider, but every morning when I go to get dressed, a shoebox comes tumbling from above and hits me on the head, while a scarf is snaking its way around my ankles.
I’m not exactly sure what we have to eat in the pantry because it’s been covered up by bags of animal crackers, goldfish and juice packs to grab for the Little Lady as we race out the door, down the road to…somewhere important I’m sure.
Did you know that the Little Lady grew this summer? On the one cool night that we have had so far this fall, she was stuffed into her biggest, too small, pair of warm pajamas that she had. So on her changing table sits a laundry basket full of clothes to be packed away.
And I don’t know how my windows managed to get so dirty during a drought?
These are just a few of the reasons why I am declaring this weekend “Operation Take Back the Trailerhood.” I have 48 hours to restore order to my home and in return, my life and sanity.
Ready…break!
{Yeh, there are no pictures with this post for obvious reasons!}

Splash!
The Little Lady loves her little wading pool at home. But it's little, I had no idea how she'd react to a big pool.
We started out in the kiddie pool, essentially a big version of her little pool at home. She LOVED it!!! She giggled the entire time she was in it.

After a quick (3.2 second) rest on her beach towel...

...and a stolen sip of soda out of Grandma's cup...

She was ready to try the big pool.
She loved it just as much!

I see some swimming lessons in someone's future.

Ewwwwww, look good!
Tonight when I brought the Little Lady home from Grandma's, she decided to make her tank top into a skirt. She ran around like this all evening.
She then decided the Easter hat in the toy box completed the look.
I grabbed the camera and snapped a few pictures. She came over and was curious so I showed her one of the pictures on the camera screen. Her response: "Ewwwwww, look good." Yes, I kid you not!

One of her favorite things to do is to spin around until she's dizzy and falls down. She incorporated it into her Dancing With The Stars act tonight.
Yeh, we laugh a lot in our house!

Dirty Girl
This weekend I did something awesome! With a group of my best girlfriends, I did the Dirty Girl Mud Run in Calhan. It was seriously one of the most fun things I've ever done!
The race proceeds benefited breast cancer research, awareness and education. Keeping with the theme, our team name was the "Training Bra..ds" (training bra...training broads...get it?!?).
Here we are before the race all pretty in our team "uniforms."
Me and Annie

The 5K course had 11 obstacles (climbing a hay stack, crawling through tunnels, wall climb, tire weave, etc.)...and a little mud!!!

Me and Anne diving into the last obstacle, the mud pit!

An AMAZING day with AMAZING ladies! I can't wait until next year!

Me and AnnieThe race was held at Rocky Mountain Roosters, just north of Calhan. (Seriously cool that this national event made its way to Calhan!) Here we are in a few pre-race poses!
